2020 Edition Cancelled

First of all, we would like to express our deepest condolences to the victims of Covid-19, we also wish those infected with the virus a quick recovery, and those who are experiencing hardship due to the coronavirus outbreak a safe way out of their difficult situation as soon as possible.

Well, this is the news we really hoped we wouldn't have to deliver this year, but with a heavy heart, here it is. Ultra-Trail® Guaraní 2020 (UTG 2020) will not go ahead.
For the past few months, the Organizing Committee has been discussing whether to hold UTG 2020 while closely monitoring the development of the coronavirus outbreak. Unfortunately, we have not seen any signs that the spread of the virus has been contained or even slowed in Paraguay.

Unfortunately, our time is up. Current restrictions limit high-concurrency sporting events and health protocols for these types of events will not be reviewed while the wave of infections continues to increase in Paraguay. Unfortunately, under these restrictions, the event cannot continue, and there is still no certainty when these restrictions will be eased.
We know this will bring mixed emotions, some of you will be disappointed by this news and others will understandably be relieved to have some certainty. Please know that our team is wrecked. We have worked hard to make the event this year and we really wanted to see you again doing what you love.

Our efforts are now focused on the next edition, June 12 and 13, 2021, and on giving runners the opportunity to discover the incredible landscapes that Guairá can offer.

About UTG 2021

Athletes who wish to be part of Ultra-Trail Guaraní 2021 may defer their existing registration to 2021. You do not need to notify us, we will do it automatically.
The registration stages will run until 2021, those athletes with partial payments will be able to confirm their participation according to their payment stage, that is, if they have made at least one payment in stage 1, the registration price of stage 1 of UTG 2020 will be honored by 2021.
The participation prices for UTG 2021 start with stage two of UTG 2020.

Cancellation and refund policy

1. Those athletes who have registered may request a full refund by sending an email to info@ultratrailguarani.com until October 31st. The refund process will begin on October 1, 2020 and will end on October 31, 2020. After this date, no refund request will be accepted.
2. Those who do not submit their cancellation and refund request will have their registration automatically deferred to UTG 2021.

While we cannot hold the event in 2020, we already hope that we will all come back stronger in 2021. Our team would like to thank you for your patience and support of the event and we look forward to seeing you at the start line next year.
