2021 Edition Cancelled

First of all, we would like to express our deepest condolences to the victims of Covid-19, we also wish a speedy recovery to all those affected, especially those who find themselves in difficult situations.

As you know, we have remained hopeful of developing the event by reopening registration last March while carefully looking at the situations surrounding COVID-19 in Paraguay. However, the context in recent weeks has become worrisome, therefore, we are faced with many uncertainties and unpredictability.

In such circumstances, we believe that it is not possible to organize a safe career for everyone: organization team, volunteers, sponsors and local communities, even if we implement all the security measures that the health authorities has approved for us.

Since we canceled the race in 2020 we have been working with the strong determination to do UTG 2021 by implementing various security measures, such as: scheduling for the removal of numbers, online technical talks, departures in batches of no more than 20 athletes and in specific hours, cleaning items at the start / finish line and all the assistance stations and other measures that would help us mitigate the spread of COVID-19. However, seeing how the transmission of the virus continues, especially the spread of variants, we must admit that the situation has evolved beyond our expectations.

We apologize that our decision will be a great disappointment and a problem for the runners who have been training and preparing for the race, volunteers who have been waiting, sponsors and, of course, the local communities who have given us great support from the beginning. to the event.

From now on, our efforts will focus on the next edition of the event,on June 11 and 12, 2022and on committing ourselves to continue working to provide our athletes the opportunity to participate in an event where landscapes of incredible beauty prevail, race logistics and a unique experience.

ABOUT UTG 2022

Athletes who wish to be part of Ultra-Trail Guaraní 2022, may defer their existing registration to 2022. You do not need to notify us, we will do it automatically.

The registration stages will last until 2022, those athletes with partial payments will be able to confirm their participation according to their payment stage.

Participation prices for UTG 2022 start with stage 2 of UTG 2021. Therefore, those athletes who have confirmed their participation in stage 3 will be reimbursed.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

1. Those runners who have registered may request a full refund by sending an email to info@ultratrailguarani.com until June 30. After this date, no refund request will be accepted.
2. Those who do not submit their cancellation and refund request will have their registration automatically deferred to UTG 2022.
